Rising from the ruins of the past few years, QUEEN LAYA is emerging into uncharted waters, defying expectations as she demonstrates a ferocious new sound with her new single 'INTUITION SPEAKS’ - A sonic concoction of sass and an un-flinching message.
Fusing powerhouse vocals with rocky acidity, QUEEN LAYA nods to the sounds of Nova Twins and Yonaka. Heavily influenced by her experiences of going through therapy in 2021, QUEEN LAYA’s lyrics are shaped by the many revelations about herself and life in general which is reflected perfectly into the music behind it.
Through lending vocals and being touring hype girl for pop punk princess GIRLI, QUEEN LAYA has performed at legendary venues and events such as Scala, Bush Hall, O2 Academy Islington, Thekla, and more.
QUEEN LAYA continues to usher in a new era of headstrong and vehement views of social issues and every day life as she writes her EP set to be released in late 2023.

VOTING IS NOW OPEN! QUEEN LAYA has been shortlisted to the next round of 'The Deal'. The winners prize includes: Recording an EP at Marshall Studios, having their songs played on Kerrang! Radio, and opening the Avalanche Stage at Download Festival 2023.
Voting is open 8-14th Feb and only one vote per person counts. VOTE HERE.

From 8th Feb to 14th Feb, QUEEN LAYA will be added to a voting page on Kerrang! Radio’s website, where fans and listeners can hear your submitted track. The two bands who receive the most votes will go into the final round.
